Actress Amanda Peet and her husband, “Game of Thrones” co-creator David Benioff, have sold their long-time home in an off-market deal for $10.25 million.
The couple purchased the Spanish-style house in the city’s Hollywood Hills neighborhood in 2006 through a trust linked to Ms. Peet’s business manager for $4.625 million, property records show.
The new owners of the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home are movie director Marc Webb and his wife, Jane Herman, according to Dirt.com, which first reported the deal. Records for the most recent sale, which closed last week, were not yet publicly available, so Mansion Global could not independently confirm the buyers.

Representatives for Mr. Webb, known for directing “500 Days of Summer” (2009) and “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012), did not immediately return a request for comment.
Once the home of actor James Cagney, the property got a refresh when Ms. Peet, 50, and Mr. Benioff, 51, moved in. Architect Brad Floyd reimagined the property, including moving the pool to the back of the property, next to a newly created outdoor kitchen and living room, the actress told Vogue in 2012. The couple also brought in garden designer Miranda Brooks to create an outdoor oasis.

“I didn’t understand how special it was going to be until my garden exploded in the most exquisite fragrances,” Ms. Peet told Vogue, adding that there’s jasmine, lavender and rosemary, plus a grapefruit orchard. “Depending on where you’re sitting, something new and incredible wafts through the air.”
Ms. Peet—who has appeared in films such as “Saving Silverman” (2001) and “Identity Thief” (2013)—is currently filming a TV adaption of the 1987 thriller “Fatal Attraction.” She and Mr. Benioff, who collaborated with D. B. Weiss on “Game of Thrones” and several spinoffs, released a Netflix series last year called “The Chair,” a campus comedy starring Sandra Oh.
