Local Artist Advances to Wildcard Round of Hollywood Bowl Vote – VOCM

A local artist who was in the running for a chance to play at the Hollywood Bowl has advanced to a wildcard round.
Paige Penney is competing against artists from all over the world for a chance to open for an artist at the venue in 2023 along with a cash prize of $10,000.
Penney was in second place before polls closed on Thursday, but found out she’s in the wildcard round for a chance to make it to the finals.
She says she was shocked at the amount of support she received in such a short time and hopes the public will continue to vote for her before polls close on Sunday.
She says getting to play on an international stage would be a huge help in getting her name out there and helping her advance her career.
