Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, popularly known as IFFM is underway in Melbourne, Australia. The Victoria State Government funded annual festival commenced in 2012.
This year the 13th edition of IFFM is being celebrated. The ceremony began on August 13 and will conclude on August 30. The event presented by VicScreen, celebrated the Indian film industry by showcasing Indian cinema to the Australian audience.
The festival streams Bollywood movies, Indie films, documentaries, regional cinema from India etc. In addition to that, it also organises short film competitions and a flag hoisting ceremony.

One of the great highlights of this event is the award night where awards are given to the best performers from Indian cinema as well as OTT scenes from the previous year. This year the award night was held on August 14, at the Palais theater, Lower Esplanade St. Kilada.

This year’s edition of the event is being hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani. Many Bollywood celebs such as Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vaani Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Anurag Kashyap, Mohit Raina and many others.
Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev was also one of the guests at the gala. Indian Film Festival of Melbourne jury includes Film editor Jill Bilcock, actor Vince Colosimo, director Geoffrey Wright and filmmaker Nadia Tass.
