Do Baaraa is a mystery drama film starring Taapsee Pannu in the main lead. She is a lady Akshay Kumar in terms of delivering films in a year. It will be the fourth outing of the actress this year. Do Baaraa serves as a remake of the Spanish film Mirage (2018). Arriving in theatres on 19 Aug 2022, it is directed by Anurag Kashyap (GOW film series fame).
Idris Elba starrer Beast is coming to the theatres upcoming Friday, the film is scheduled to be released in India in Sep first week. It is directed by Baltasar Kormakur and financed by James Lopez, Will Packer, and Jamie Primak Sullivan under the banner Will Packer Production and RVK Studios. The trailer of the film was dropped on May 2022, so far it has been viewed over 3 crore times on YouTube.
The national awardee actor Dhanush will soon be seen in a musical family drama titled “Thiruchitrambalam”, it is helmed and written by Mithran R Jawahar. Along with Dhanhus, it has Raashi Khanna, Prakash Raj, Bharathiraja and Nithya Menen in the key roles. Backed by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures.
It is a sequel to the 2015 film Daagdi Chaawl, directed by Chandrakant and financed by Amole D Kale & Suresh B Sawant. It stars Ankush Chaudhari, Pooja Sawant, Makarand Deshpande, Yatin Karyekar, Ambarish Deshpande, Shrikant Yadav, Nachiket Purnapatre in the key roles.
Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya starring Nope after doing excellent business in the domestic market is now all set to grace the cinemas in India. It will be released on 19 Aug 2022 in India, as per Book My show. It opened with $44M on the first weekend, so far the film has grossed $102M+ at the box office in the domestic market.
The much anticipated Malayalam film will be released in cinemas on Aug 19, it is a horror thriller set in the 1940’s going by the trailer it revolves around the search for a treasure. It stars Vineeth Kumar, Divya Pillai, Vijeesh Vijayan, Sreeraman, and Sunil Sugatha. It is a Sajan Antony directorial and produced by Rakesh Kuriakose under Migress Productions.
