The Gray Man’s Ryan Gosling has revealed that he would be open to collaborating on an Indian or Bollywood film after working with Dhanush.
The Gray Man, starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Dhanush, was arguably Netflix’s most anticipated film of their summer schedule, releasing around the world for OTT streaming on Friday, July 22nd.
Whilst critics may not have particularly enjoyed this espionage action flick, with only a 50% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, fans are loving Gosling and Evan’s face-off with an outstanding 90% audience score.
Now, Gosling has revealed that he would love to not only visit India but that he would also be open to featuring in a Bollywood production alongside Dhanush.
As part of the PR campaign for The Gray Man, lead actor Ryan Gosling sat down with India Today, where he revealed that he would be open to working on an original Indian production.
“The world is getting smaller with actors from different countries and backgrounds working on projects together, would you be open to collaborating on an Indian film or a Bollywood film?” – India Today.
To which Gosling replied, “I would love that, I really would – do you have, if you can hook me up you let me know.” Acknowledging that his infamous dancing skills would likely be a selling point for a Bollywood film, Gosling added “I’m in, you’ve sold me, let’s do it, when – when do I start?”
The Canadian superstar would then reveal that he would love the opportunity to visit India, but noted how his incredibly busy schedule means that vacation time can often be difficult to come by.
“You know it’s definitely a dream of mine to come [to India] and I’m not kidding, you know I would love to make a film there. Unfortunately, with what I do I don’t get a lot of time off, so working in certain places is my way to go and experience it. It’s also a great way to experience a country, so I would love to find a film to do there because I think that would be amazing.” – Ryan Gosling, via India Today.
Gosling then added how “Maybe I’ll talk to the Russo’s and we will find one.”
Chris Evans isn’t the only kick-ass opponent Ryan Gosling and Ana De Armas have to fight off in The Gray Man.

Alongside Gosling and fellow action superstar Chris Evans is India’s very own Dhanush, a superstar from the Tamil cinema industry in his own right.
Gosling noted how “unfortunately Dhanush and I spent most of our time fighting and I wish that wasn’t the case.”
“I would love to do a film when we’re [Gosling and Dhanush] not fighting each other because he is such a wonderful actor and I liked working with him so much. He really adds so much to this film and we’re very, very lucky to have him in it.” – Ryan Gosling, via India Today.
The good news is that we could very well see Dhanush return to The Gray Man in a potential sequel, with the Russo brothers noting how “It’s based on a book series, so there is the opportunity to expand this into future movies.”
Joe Russo would then explain how “If we do continue forward with the story, I can guarantee you that Dhanush’s character will be part of that world moving forward.”
Anthony Russo would then add how he “keeps getting texts from people I know and they just say ‘more Dhanush’ in the texts.” Dhanush would later share that all it would take for him to return to The Gray Man with Gosling would be “a phone call.”
