Dulquer Salmaan latest movie, Sita Ramam, has emerged as a big hit at the box office. The flick, which opened in theatres on August 5, has grossed the Rs 50-crore mark globally to emerge as a game changer for the young star. DQ has now thanked fans with a special video. Sita Ramam is a romantic drama, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The Padi Padi Leche Manasu director has also written the film with Raj Kumar Kandamudi.
Dulquer Salmaan, who received praise for his work in Mahanati (2018), returned to Tollywood with Sita Ramam. The film, which hit the screens on August 5, has exceeded expectations at the box office. It has collected Rs 50 crore globally, Dulquer has now thanked fans for supporting his movie. The star shared a video to express his gratitude to his audience.

Sita Ramam is a romantic drama set in the 1960s. It celebrates the passionate journey of two lovers. Mrunal Thakur, who has starred in Hindi movies such as Toofaan and Jersey, made her Tollywood debut with the movie. Sita Ramam’s cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sumanth, Prakash Raj, and Bhumika Chawla, among others.
Dulquer Salmaan, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He will soon be seen alongside National Award winner Rajkummar Rao in Raj and DK’s upcoming web series, Guns and Gulaabs. The Mollywood star is gearing up to begin work on the Malayalam film, King of Kotha. The crime drama may feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Dulquer also has the R Balki-directed Hindi film, Chup, in his kitty. This will be his third Bollywood movie after Karwaan (2018), and the Sonam Kapoor-led The Zoya Factor (2019). Chup also stars Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
