Actor Lee Chae Min will be the latest MC of Music Bank after Enhypen Sunghoon‘s departure. Here’s everything you need to know about the 22-year-old rising Korean star who will join IVE’s Wonyoung as your weekly music show host.
Lee Chae Min will be the 38th male MC of the KBS weekly music show. A number of K-drama heartthrobs have been MCs of Music Bank in the past including Song Joong Ki, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bogum.
Lee Chae Min is a rising Korean actor signed to Korean agency Gold Medalist, home of award-winning stars such as Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Yea Ji.
Chae Min charmed fans in KBS Drama Love All Play in the role of Lee Ji Ho, teammate of protagonist Park Tae Joon (played by Chae Jong Hyeop). Lee Chae Min made his acting debut in tVN’s High Class as Ahn Seung-jo.
Chae Min has also been cast in webtoon-based movie Us, Everyday alongside Kim Saeron.
Fans will be able to see the latest MC of Music Bank next week as reports state Lee Chae Min will make his Music Bank hosting debut alongside IVE’s Wonyoung on September 30.
Even though Lee Chae Min is a lesser known face compared with some previous hosts, it looks as though fans are impressed by KBS’ choice. Chae Min follows Enhypen’s Sunghoon in the role.
