Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo divorce: Is the couple’s failure to have a child the real reason for their divorce?
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were one of the most admired couples after they confirmed their relationship and got married. However, this did not last long as they decided to part ways less than two years after exchanging “I Do’s.”
The pair is officially divorced in July although there were rumors that they had been apart for months prior to Joong Ki’s filing for divorce in June. Their separation shocked the world and people want to know what exactly happened to them, but the reasons that they gave were vague.
Reason for their breakup
In their statement, Song Joong Ki asked the people to respect their privacy and did not really share the cause of their split while Song Hye Kyo, through her agency, said that they broke up due to differences in personalities. But what is the real cause of their split?
Months before their divorce, it was reported that the couple is preparing to start their family but rather than pregnancy news, what the fans got were reports of their split. Perhaps, something happened to the pair so their divorce could also have resulted from something related to having kids?
According to Allkpop, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were already thinking about having a baby, so they were preparing for it. However, it appears that their pregnancy plans will have to wait a bit since the actress started filming “Encounter” with Park Bo Gum. Some say that their differences in personality may be true but other than that, the matters about having a baby could be another reason that led to their fall out, and eventually they have to divorce.
Hye Kyo’s time to get pregnant is running out
The actress is older than her husband, and probably, he wants to have a child soon since his wife is not getting younger. She will be in her 40s soon so it might have become a worry for them since it will be a little late if they will get pregnant later.
Then again, the pregnancy still didn’t happen, so it can be concluded that the actor may have been disappointed. The point is, the “DOTS” actress may not be ready to have a kid yet for she is still fully focused on her work so this may have caused a problem for the two of them. But whatever the real reason is, only Song Joong ki and Song Hye Kyo know.
